Were looking for aWorkshop Technicianto join our team and work on a variety of vehicles, from cars and light vans to HGV recovery vehicles. If youre passionate about vehicle maintenance and repairs, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You'll Do
Service, inspect, and repair Westbournes fleet of rescue and recovery vehicles, alongside retail customer vehicles.
Work primarily on vehicles under 3500 kg, with occasional larger HGV work.
Handle a variety of faults and repairs, delivering high-quality workmanship within agreed timeframes.
What We Offer
Salary:£37,000 per annum, based on a 47.25-hour workweek.
Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:0017:30 & Alternate Saturdays: 08:0012:30
Holidays:28 days (including 8 public/bank holidays).
Bonus:Earn £16.50 for every hour charged above 120 hours/month, potentially adding up to £7,920 annually.
Pension:Automatic enrolment after 3 months of continuous employment.
Uniform:Overalls provided. (Safety footwear is mandatory and to be supplied by the employee.)

Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Vehicle Workshop Technician or in a similar role
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks
Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues effectively
Relevant certifications in automotive technology or related fields
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
