Role Overview The firm is seeking a talented and driven Public Law Solicitor to join their highly regarded team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of public law matters, including judicial review, inquests, public inquiries, and civil claims against public bodies. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the department. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of judicial reviews, inquests, public inquiries, and claims against public authorities. Providing expert legal advice to clients on public law matters. Handling all aspects of litigation, from initial instruction through to resolution. Ensuring compliance with funding regulations, including managing legal aid cases. Undertaking advocacy where appropriate. Assisting in business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships. Skills & Experience Qualified Solicitor (0-4 years PQE) with experience in public law and litigation. Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines. Strong advocacy skills and experience handling publicly funded cases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and external bodies.
