Amazon Ads is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly-growing non-endemic performance Ads Sales team. Amazon is committed to delivering best in class products, devices and services in the performance ads space and this role will help connect brands with our newest display ad solutions to delight customers and deliver results. This is an exciting time to join a new team in a role with broad scope and the potential to make real impact. This role will be focused on driving non-endemic performance Ads business and helping our customers meet their performance objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building partnerships and working in a complex, cross-functional environment. He/she must also possess strong communication skills and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. He/she will have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and a strong desire to win.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Generates performance advertising revenue by establishing credible relationships with advertiser decision makers and agencies and constructing and delivering compelling pitches.
2. Be a true hunter, hungry to uncover opportunity and connect it with a value-adding solution.
3. Generates a pipeline and influences buying decisions to drive revenue from new advertisers.
4. Maps account strategies, aligning resources and uncovering which of our display products best serves an advertiser’s needs.
5. Holds sales calls on existing and prospective clients, delivering superior customer service.
6. Prepares and delivers customized sales presentations to clients.
Minimum Requirements
1. 3+ years of sales experience
2. Experience in advertising
3. MBA
