Key Responsibilities
The Building Safety Manager will:
Develop and manage Building Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports for in-scope buildings (18m+ or 7 storeys).
Conduct gap analyses as part of the golden thread of information, identifying risks and recommending solutions.
Provide expert advice on fire strategies, fire safety management plans, and building occupancy solutions.
Keep up to date with fire safety legislation and best practices.
Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies when required.The role may involve reviewing safety documentation, collaborating with fire safety professionals, and occasional site visits if necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven expertise in fire safety management, risk assessment, or related disciplines.
A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
Excellent communication skills for working with a range of stakeholders, including fire assessors, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
