We are a fast-growing & innovative company operating a 50,000 sq ft warehouse. We are seeking a proactive & detail-focused Facilities Supervisor Apprentice to support our team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in facilities management, health and safety regulations, production & distribution processes.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
Health and Safety:
* Learn and assist in the implementation of health and safety regulations and compliance laws within the warehouse.
* Support in conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
* Ensure that all safety procedures are followed, and that safety equipment is properly maintained.
* Assist in training staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Operations Support:
* Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day activities within the warehouse.
* Help monitor the flow of production and distribution, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
* Support the coordination of inventory management, ensuring that stock is organised and easily accessible.
* Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and reporting any maintenance issues.
Admin Support:
* Assist the Operations Manager with general administrative tasks related to facilities management.
* Help with preparing and maintaining reports, schedules, and operational documents.
* Support in scheduling maintenance or service calls for equipment and facilities.
* Assist with data entry, filing, and keeping operational records up-to-date.
Warehouse Supervision:
* Ensure that the warehouse rules and regulations are adhered to by all team members.
* Monitor and enforce cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse.
* Help supervise shifts and assist with workforce coordination as needed.
* Report any issues or discrepancies to the Operations Manager in a timely manner.
