About the role
Futures are working with an industry-leading engineering business who are looking to appoint a Sales Engineer in a new role for the business! They are looking for a Sales Engineer to maintain and develop existing accounts alongside the account manager and promote new business sales alongside the business development managers.
Our client provides technical products and services to a large client base ranging from the largest blue chips through to start-up SMEs within engineering and manufacturing.
You will be the voice of the engineers in the sales meetings. The successful Sales Engineer must have a relevant engineering qualification and at least two years of experience in a sales-focused role.
You will be joining a well-renowned market leader who is offering a competitive salary, car allowance and commission!
Your Role and Responsibilities:
1. Selling Engineering Solutions to various manufacturing sectors
2. Account Management for multiple customers
3. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with your clients, creating a “partnership” approach
4. Dealing with new enquiries, acting as a link between customers and engineers
5. Develop proposals and quotes, which exceed customer’s expectations, and can be delivered efficiently by the engineering team
6. Delivering account growth
Your Skills and Experience:
1. An engineering qualification
2. Experience selling a technically engineered product
3. Prior experience working closely with R&D teams
4. A UK driving licence
5. Excellent communication skills
