New roles have been created within the Revenues & Benefits Service in order to improve and enhance our ability to manage our core database, Capita, and other systems used within the Service. We are therefore looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the Capita system to become our Systems and Development Manager.
You will report to the Revenues & Benefits Head of Service and will lead an effective Systems and Development team working with colleagues in the Support team and across the service to ensure efficient use of Capita and other key systems used in Revenues and Benefits.
We are looking to maximise the efficient and effective use of our systems and the successful candidate will take a lead in reviewing and revising working practices, developing existing and any new systems and supporting Service management to extract, analyse and report data. Our use of system data is extensive and the successful applicant will be required to review and enhance our use of all data.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of our core database, Capita, and ensure that all aspects of reporting and automation are being developed and utilised fully, will be able to extract data using existing reports and QRC and develop new methods of gathering of appropriate data, will be able to analyse, interpret and report complex data and work with colleagues across the Service to improve our understanding and use of Capita data.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, able to work unsupervised and committed to evening and weekend work when required, particularly at key times of the year.
