As Customer Trade Planning Manager, you will be accountable for developing, optimising, executing & reviewing a seasonal customer trade plan.
What will you do:
* Building, managing & optimising a seasonal trade plan, including all full price & promotional activations, to drive more reasons to visit for our customer segments.
* Using customer, market & business insight to maximise customer & commercial opportunities in both the short & long term.
* Working collaboratively with the customer propositions manager to understand the role of propositions within the seasonal trade plan & applying this to specific events or activations.
* Briefing Product, Insight, Campaign, Customer & Channel teams to support the development of the customer trade plan both in the short & long term.
* Project managing seasonal events using the customer trade planning critical path, ensuring key meetings are diarised & deadlines are met for seamless execution.
* Setting agendas for planning meetings, taking minutes & following up with actions.
* Working cross functionally & building strong relationships across all parts of the business in order to consistently communicate, influence & deliver customer plans effectively.
* Representing the customer team in trade, planning & sign off meetings, acting as the voice of the customer, ensuring plans are delivered on time & against the KPIs.
* Being able to organise & manage time effectively including juggling multiple seasons, tasks & deadlines whilst being able to recognise & prioritise business critical tasks.
* Championing efficient, simple processes & always looking for ways to improve processes.
* Co-ordinating & organising the delivery of the lessons learnt for your season including any cross channel key events, launches or activations.
* Engaging & influencing key stakeholders across the business at all levels.
* Provide support to the Senior Customer Propositions & Planning Manager by sharing expertise and information to support effective decision making.
* Supporting the wider Customer Trade Planning team when required & support an energetic, enthusiastic & supportive team culture.
Minimum Requirements:
* +5 years experience in a commercial trade facing role – marketing, buying, merchandising, planning, eCommerce, finance or retail management.
* Strong communication & project management skills.
* Able to lead cross functional groups with a proven record in influencing at all levels.
* Good understanding of retail within an omnichannel environment.
* Ability to turn complex data and insight into action plans.
