Our client is looking for multiple experienced Adult Social Workers to be based in their East London location. As an Adult Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to young adults, and their families. You will act as a lead professional, providing expert knowledge, guidance, and support to colleagues, while managing complex caseloads. As an Adult Social Worker, you will be part of the Integrated Learning Disabilities Service (ILDS), specifically within the Ongoing Support and Reviews pathway. The role requires a Social Worker with experience working with adults aged 18 and over. Proficiency in conducting Care Act (2014) assessments, Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments, and Court of Protection work is essential. The ILDS is a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team comprising Nurses, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Analysts, Dietitians, Support Workers, and Speech and Language Therapists. Previous experience working in a similar multidisciplinary team environment would be advantageous for the post holder. Key Requirements: Qualifications: A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England. Experience : Significant post-qualification experience (3 years), particularly in adult care, and a proven ability to handle complex and high-risk cases. Knowledge: A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
