Summary Materials Leader will be responsible for the Operational Planning element of the site S&OP process. Responsibilities - Responsible for the Operational Planning part of the site S&OP process. - Create, execute, and further develop the site manufacturing plans to enable a greater horizon of fixed/firm planning. - Supervise the day-to-day activities in materials management to ensure inventory levels and material flow meets current and future production needs. - Further develop Material Management tools and processes to ensure inventory optimisation. - Act as a functional manager to the Planner role. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment. - Meet business objectives for On Time Launch, On Time to Promise (OTP), DSI and Inventory. - Ensure there is at least one Kaizen in place to support scheduling and material management to drive business improvement and team engagement. - Support and develop the Planning function to enable cross module cover and standardise over the various areas of the business. This in turn enables healthy succession planning. Qualifications - Previous experience of Operational Planning in a Manufacturing environment is essential. - An in-depth knowledge of SAP planning is essential. - Further SAP knowledge of other SAP functions is desirable. - Great communication skills, verbal and written. - Excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills. - Advanced in IT (Word, Excel, Powepoint, Outlook).
