Working closely with a wider ITTS Digital Making Teams, you will find yourself pushing the limits of technology and making imagination a reality. This post is fixed term, for 6 months from February 2025. Based on location within ECA's Lauriston Campus. The Opportunity: You will join a team of dedicated and professional technical staff supporting interdisciplinary teaching and research. You will have a solid background in and practical understanding of new and transformative technologies within digital making and a passion for helping others make use of them to challenge, create, and make change happen. Your skills and attributes for success: Demonstrable in-depth technical knowledge and experience of relevant processes and equipment. An inquisitive attitude and desire to learn new skills and technologies to tackle challenges as they arise. Proven ability to present technical ideas and concepts to an audience with a wide range of skill and experience levels Firm grasp of the health and safety aspects of busy technical workshops with students as the primary user. Ability to produce high-quality documentation and learning material for students and staff, using a variety of delivery methods.
