The Role
As the Website Trading Manager, you will be responsible for driving website sales and enhancing the digital guest experience across our online platforms. Your data-driven approach will focus on understanding and improving key metrics, such as sales, traffic, average order value (AOV), and conversion rates. You will oversee website performance, including speed, stability, upselling opportunities, and the booking funnel. Additionally, you will manage processes related to demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting, and opportunity analysis. In collaboration with key stakeholders, you will develop and recommend sales strategies, including pricing strategies for various segments, while identifying new revenue opportunities. Your role will involve effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment of sales strategies and pricing.

* Manage in-house Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) activities, ensuring all SEO hygiene factors are in place and to improve search engine visibility and ranking.
* To oversee and manage the updating of website content, to ensure that the site consistently reflects our brand values and engages visitors.
* To manage the business’s Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) by taking the lead on A/B testing initiatives, working closely with UX designers to optimise the website’s conversion rate.
* Work alongside the in-house development team to implement new website features, benefits, and improvements that enhance user experience.
* Manage troubleshoot issues related to the Property Management System (PMS) and Resort Suite.
* Responsible for performance analysis and reporting to track performance, sales, and conversion rates.
* Conduct competitor analysis and keep up to date with new trends and insights.
* Support the development and delivery of automated email campaigns to drive engagement and revenue.
* Identify and address performance gaps, ensuring that departmental objectives are achieved.
Person Specification:
* Proven Experience in website trading, with success in managing and optimising website sales and performance.
* A track record of implementing effective CRO strategies to enhance user engagement and increase sales.
* In-depth knowledge of analytical tools to interpret and analyse data, identifying trends and actionable insights.
* Strong ability to think critically, address challenges with innovative solutions, and pay close attention to detail.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities independently.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
* A proactive approach to introducing creative solutions, driving innovation, and continuously enhancing processes.
* Prior experience with Resort Suite or a similar system is essential.
* Experience in the Hospitality industry.
Further Information:
* Head Office based.
* 40 hours per week.
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a 7-day operation for any troubleshooting issues.
