Job Description
We are working with a leading semiconductor company known for its innovative microprocessor architectures. They are looking to expand their FPGA Prototyping verification team, working on cutting-edge subsystems and System-on-Chips (SoCs) in either Cambridge or Manchester.
As a team member, you will primarily drive the verification of modified SoC RTL designs for FPGA implementation. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining SoC verification testbenches, integrating third-party VIPs, writing and reusing C test cases, creating test plans, and automating tasks using scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and execute verification strategies for assigned SoC modules.
* Collaborate with design engineers and architects to understand requirements and plan verification.
* Communicate verification progress and results to stakeholders.
* Automate test cases and regression suites to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Key Skills:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in electronics/computer engineering.
* Strong understanding of SoC verification, hardware description languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL).
* Knowledge of computer architecture, bus protocols (AXI, AHB), and peripherals.
* Experience with Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with ARM-based designs and architectures.
* Familiarity with ARM debugging tools (e.g., ARM DS, DSTREAM).
* Knowledge of verification methodologies (UVM/OVM) and protocols like PCIe and CXL.
