Job Description
The ERP Solution Engineering (SE) Enablement Lead is a critical and impactful role within the North American Applications (NAA) SE organization, focused on empowering SEs to achieve peak performance. This individual serves as a dedicated resource and community steward, driving initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of our Solution Engineers, focusing on the ERP pillar. This includes developing and delivering engaging training programs, facilitating dynamic knowledge sharing, enabling the team on new product releases and updated messaging, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is highly organized and proactive, with strong project management skills, a passion for enablement, and the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations. Responsibilities:
1. Enablement Program Strategy and Delivery: Partner with SE leaders and the broader community to understand areas of highest impact and establish a strategic plan to meet those needs. Design and execute programs that drive excellence in SE performance.
2. ERP Information Distillation: Synthesize new product releases, sales messaging, soft skill learnings, and industry trends all related to ERP, and distill this information into actionable key takeaways for SEs that provide insights that fuel curiosity and empower the exploration of new possibilities.
3. Enablement Program Design and Delivery: Develop and deliver targeted enablement programs to equip SEs with the knowledge and tools needed to position and demonstrate Oracle's ERP solutions effectively.
4. Drive Compelling Community Events: Own ERP Community Day preparation, scheduling and facilitating dry runs, presentations, meeting agenda, communications, and overall readiness - driving high quality, engaging, and interactive content that up-levels the ERP community on product updates.
5. Community Building and Facilitation: Cultivate a thriving community by organizing and facilitating collaboration, mentorship opportunities, and knowledge-sharing sessions, fostering trust and open communication.
6. Learning Experience Design: Craft engaging learning journeys by delivering concise, clear, and creative sessions, active learning activities, and experiential labs that bring concepts to life. Continuously innovate to enrich the learning experience, fostering a culture of curiosity and excellence.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with product management, Revenue Enablement Services, Oracle University, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on enablement priorities and objectives. Review enablement content, provide feedback, and ensure a seamless and inspiring SE learning experience.
8. Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitive offerings and strategies, providing valuable insights.
9. Content Curation: Curate and share relevant and engaging content to keep the SE community informed and inspired.
10. Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze the effectiveness of enablement programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize training and development initiatives, driving excellence through data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications:
1. Role Experience: Significant experience in sales enablement, training, solution engineering, or program design and execution. Typically, this correlates with 7+ years of experience in a related field, but candidates with demonstrably impactful contributions from less experience will also be considered, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
2. Design Thinking: Experience with Design Thinking methodologies to support creative facilitation and active learning.
3. Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong stakeholder relationships.
4. Initiative and Proactiveness: A self-starter with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership, driven by curiosity and a desire to make a difference.
5. Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Presentation and Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging and informative presentations to diverse audiences.
7. Training and Development Experience: Experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs, whether in a formal role or as a community contributor.
8. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Information Technology, Organizational Design, Talent Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's Degree is a plus.
2. ERP Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of ERP concepts, applications, and market dynamics. Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud solutions is a plus; experience in an industry or customer role related to ERP is valued, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in ERP knowledge.
3. Sales Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.
4. Learning Tools Experience: Experience with Oracle Learning, Oracle University, RISE 360, Menti, Apex Surveys, Zoom Whiteboards, SharePoint Sites, Seismic, Consensus, and other enablement technologies.
Travel: Up to 10% in North America
