At Infinite Aged Care, our Hospitality Assistants play a key role in meeting our residents’ daily needs. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work as part of the Hotel Services team, responsible for activities including food preparation, service, in-room service, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
The Role
1. Prepare, plate, and serve food to residents.
2. Clean kitchen and dining areas, including equipment.
3. Wash dishes, load and unload the dishwasher.
4. Maintain high safety standards by adhering to hygiene and sanitation protocols.
5. Ensure each dining experience is enjoyable and memorable for our elderly residents.
This role involves physical activity such as bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing. It is essential that you can perform these tasks safely to prevent injury to yourself, colleagues, and residents.
About You
* At least 6 months of kitchen experience, preferably in aged care.
* A passion for food.
* Problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and quick thinking.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hardworking, flexible, and available to cover shifts.
* Genuine care and compassion during mealtimes.
