The Electrical/ Electronic and Mechanical Engineering School provides our learners with the knowledge and skills required by the engineering industry. We provide an excellent foundation for our learners to progress to the next level, including careers in the engineering sector, apprenticeships and Higher Education. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our successful team at Uxbridge College. You would teach across a range of courses in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from Level 1 to Level 5. You will need to possess a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related area, and have some teaching or training experience in the subject area. You will be able to deliver a range of technical subjects in Electrical/ Electronic, Control and Computer Engineering such as embedded systems, programming (C, Java, Python, SQL), data and telecommunications, networks, PLCs, control systems. Experience in the engineering industry would be highly desirable. You will also have good communication skills and be able to engage and motivate young learners aged 16-19. We will support you to develop your career in teaching, including fully funding the Level 5 teacher training qualification.
