This role offers an opportunity for an experienced AdvancedClinical Practitioner to join our leadership team. In addition to your ownpatient caseload you will support in the development and implementation of ourclinical strategy of providing high-quality patient-centred primary careservices, by providing clinical and professional leadership, with a focus onthe nursing team and advanced practitioners working within the organisation.
You will have experience of working across the breadth ofPrimary Care managing acute, chronic and complex presentations. You will be acredible leader with experience of delivering improvements in patient care.
ImportantInformation:
This is a split role with 15 hours per week allocated forthe Associate Director role and the remaining hours (minimum 15 hours) workingas an Advanced Clinical Practitionerbased in one of the NCPC practices. The 2 roles have different salaryscales:
AssociateDirector - Starting from £67,791
ACP -£55,532 - £68,271

Main duties of the job
Support inthe development and implementation of NCPCs clinical strategy of providinghigh-quality patient-centred primary care services, by providing clinical andprofessional leadership, with a focus on the nursing team and advancedpractitioners working within the organisation.
Bepassionate about, and committed to providing excellent, patient-centred primarycare, supporting the development of clinical models which bring together accessto the appropriate member of the clinical team and encourage continuity ofcare.
Provideassurance to the Directors that robust systems of governance and performancemanagement are in place, and that high quality patient-led services are beingdeveloped and delivered to nationally recognised best practice
Work aspart of a collective leadership team to continue the development of aclinically-led and management-enabled organisation.
Lead onthe implementation of the NCPC Nursing and ACP Plan.
Championthe development and governance of nursing and advanced practice roles acrossNCPC practice.
Create anddevelop a culture of professional development and learning amongst the nursingand ACP team at an individual, practice, locality and organisation.
Provide supportand be involved with workforce planning and development of the nursing and ACPteam at practice, locality and organisational level.
Modelexcellent professional behaviours and clinical excellence.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Current registered professional with NMC or HCPC
2. 1st level registration
3. Full completion and qualified in the MSc Advanced Practice Clinical Masters Degree including Independent Non-Medical Prescriber V300
Experience
Essential
4. Experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner working across the breadth of Primary Care managing acute/chronic/complex presentations
5. Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-going competence in all aspects of the ACP role
6. Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a team
7. Proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of their own clinical practice
Skills and aptitudes
Essential
8. Ability to assess and manage patient risk effectively and safely in a patient centred way.
9. Able to establish effective communication pathways with internal and external stakeholders
10. Understanding and knowledge of policy developments related to the delivery of primary care services including General Practice, the GMS/PMS contract, Clinical Governance, Quality & Outcomes Framework
11. Understanding of systems to gain an understanding of the health needs of the Practice population as they relate to primary care
12. Understanding of evidence based practice
13. Knowledge of national standards that inform practice (eg National Service Frameworks, NICE guidelines etc.)
