We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Customer Service Advisor to join our fantastic Customer Services Team at Rutland County Council. This is a chance to make a positive difference to how we deliver effective customer services to our Rutland Community. As a unitary council we deliver diverse services and are looking for individuals to join us in delivering a service that continuously improves our customers’ experience.
About you…
• Experience in a similar Customer Service Advisor role delivering a “one-stop” service
• Confident, and adaptable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to act with diplomacy and tact at all levels and be discreet with confidential information
• Able to deal with challenging situations whilst remaining calm and professional
• Solution focused, able to resolve queries and deliver positive outcomes for customers
About the role…
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
• To act as the first point of contact for customers
• To take responsibility for resolving customer enquiries in professional efficient and sensitive manner
• To record and maintain customer contact information accurately and in line with the available technology
• To access and retrieve information from Council databases, back-end systems and the internet as appropriate, in order to resolve customer enquiries
Not everyone can deliver effective customer services, however this role is extremely rewarding and vital as it impacts directly on the lives of our Rutland residents and community.
The Customer Service Advisor interviews will be held 09/10 October 2024. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
