Temporary Employee Relations Advisor Location: Croydon Contract: Temporary for 2-3 months Salary: £20.20 per hour 37.5 hours Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We are seeking a Temporary Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert guidance on employee relations and sickness absence management within our organisation. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line advice on sickness absence, supporting managers through short- and long-term cases, including termination hearings. Offer guidance on ill health retirement, redeployment, and Occupational Health processes. Support managers in handling flexible working requests, probation management, and fixed-term contract reviews. Advise on disciplinary, grievance, and capability cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and Trust policies. Assist with investigations, hearings, and appeals, preparing reports and maintaining accurate case records. Deliver training sessions to managers on key HR policies and employee relations matters. Support HR projects, policy updates, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For: Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Experience managing employee relations cases, including sickness absence and disciplinary processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Previous experience in an HR advisory role, preferably within a large or complex organisation.
