Job Description
Modeling:
1. Interpret concept art and sketches to create 3D character models, environments, and props.
2. Optimize, refine, and correct model topology.
3. Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions, and other technical constraints.
4. Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team lead and asset supervisor.
5. Work with team members, team lead, and Asset Supervisor to execute projects on time and quality.
Texturing:
1. Research reference materials for texturing and shading as per the design.
2. Unwrap UV and create textures from different applications like Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer, etc.
3. Create shading on required engines with different texture passes such as VRAY, Arnold, Redshift, etc.
4. Check the shades by doing a render test on a light rig to ensure they react with the light as per their attributes.
5. Work with team members, team lead, and Asset Supervisor to execute projects on time and quality.
Job Specification: Modeler
1. Experience of using Maya and Zbrush.
2. Ability to do character modeling from basic design.
3. Strong knowledge of anatomy.
4. Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D design and character modeling.
5. Must have UV and texturing knowledge.
6. Having a background in fine arts will be a plus.
Job Specification: Texture
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and shading.
2. Good knowledge of Maya and shading on different engines.
3. Good knowledge of UV, textures, and surface materials for both hard and soft surfaces.
4. Working knowledge of applications such as Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer.
5. Must have basic modeling and topology knowledge.
6. Having a background in fine arts will be a plus.
7. Must have basic knowledge of lighting and its necessary passes.
8. Must have knowledge of PBR.
