Our well known client with offices in Central London and on the East Coast of the UK is looking for a merchandiser to join their busy team. They need someone with experience to bring to the team - so ideally 3-5 years experience. You will need to be in the Norwich office for 2 x days ideally every week but fortnightly will work for the right person as well as the option of 3 out of 4 weeks (an overnight stay can be accommodated so if you live in Essex / North London / Suffolk etc then it could still work for you). So you will not be out of pocket travelling or staying there but visibility is required in Norfolk. You will be responsible for: Work closely with the buying team to compile & present seasonal product strategy, sourcing strategy, pricing strategy and financial KPI’s to senior management Work closely with the buying team to analyse seasonal sales performance, profitability, consumer buying patterns, market trends and competitor activity to identify areas of opportunity and risk Determine stock requirements, in accordance with Demand Planning, and sign-off with senior management team prior to placing with suppliers/factories Work closely with the buying team to plan commercial and exciting ranges which meet the agreed strategy and deliver the agreed financial KPI’s, and sign-off with senior management team You will be commercial and inquisitive and naturally excited by retail - this is an exceptional business to work for and you will be rewarded with a great team around you and a strong identity.
