Are you a newly qualified GP(within the last two years, without a substantive post) looking for an excitingand supportive role to launch your career? I3 Primary Care Network are seekingan enthusiastic, forward-thinking GP to join our team on a fixed-term salariedcontract until 31 March 2025.
You will be a highly motivatedand dedicated Newly Qualified GP to join our multidisciplinary team under theNHS Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).
Main duties of the job
1. Provide high-quality, patient-centred care across the PCN.
2. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, mental health practitioners, and social prescribers, to ensure integrated patient care.
3. Conduct consultations, assessments, and follow-ups with patients, utilising ARRS-funded services to support patient needs.
4. Contribute to the management of chronic disease, health promotion, and disease prevention in line with best practices and PCN goals.
5. Participate in clinical audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care within the PCN.
6. Support the development and implementation of new care pathways that align with ARRS objectives.

Job responsibilities
To provide a comprehensive rangeof clinical duties at the agreed Surgeries within our Primary Care Network,which may also include working within our Enhanced Access Service.
To undertake surgeryconsultations, home visits where necessary, and telephone queries from patientsand health care professionals.
Making professional, autonomousdecisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referredfrom other health care workers within the organisation
To undertake on-call duties aspart of the Surgery on-call rota, where agreed. This may include requestingthat patients present at the surgery, telephone consultations, home visits andtriage.
Work with patients in order tosupport compliance with and adherence to prescribed treatments. Provideinformation and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication onmedication regimens, side-effects, and interactions
Assess, identify, and referpatients presenting with mental health needs in accordance with national andlocal guidelines.
Assessing the health care needsof patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Screening patients for diseaserisk factors and early signs of illness
In consultation with patientsand in line with current practice disease management protocols, developing careplans for health
Recording clear andcontemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
Collecting data for auditpurposes.
Compiling and issuingcomputer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.

11. Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GP Register - Certificate of completion date must be within 2 years and not having held a substantive post before. Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice / Certificate Confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration, or equivalent. Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
