The Creative Social Lead at ASOS is a highly experienced and skilled leader with a keen eye for all things Social. As a member of our Lead team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, building relationships and collaborating on a variety of outputs. You will be a key stakeholder in defining our creative social identity to connect with existing customers and engage a wider audience.
You will lead, mentor, and creatively inspire others to deliver the best assets in the industry. You will continually develop our offerings across multiple platforms and every touchpoint with our customers. Your role is one of inspiration, creativity, delivery, with a deep understanding of both the world of social but also the customers we aim to connect with.
You are commercially and operationally aware of the balance between quality, delivery, and deadlines, and you thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The Role
1. Social Authority: To be continually up to date and ahead of the curve of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices while demonstrating flexibility to adapt strategies quickly in response to new developments.
2. Fashion Authority: You will use your expertise in social to put ASOS on the map as a fashion authority, utilising your experience to guide teams in the most relevant fashion-focused and engaging concepts.
3. Inspiration and Mentorship: As a self-sufficient leader, you inspire the team to continually advance and be an aspirational figure within the leadership team and department. You will have the ability to see opportunities and articulate a compelling vision that motivates and inspires others.
4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Creative Studios Leadership team to align goals and ambitions. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate creative briefs into delivery that ignites the imagination of internal teams and customers, ensuring goals and ambitions are aligned.
5. Social Strategy: Be accountable for guiding social content across a wide range of projects and briefs to ensure we are connecting with the right customer in the right way, ensuring that the team's creative vision and delivery strategies are aligned with the brand ethos and reflect the brand's strategy.
6. Delivery at scale: Be accountable for the delivery of Creative Studios social output including campaign shoots for central and AMG with the ability to juggle multiple projects running in parallel.
What Youll Be Doing
1. Reporting directly to the Head of Studios, you will oversee and be accountable for the delivery of Creative Studios social output across product pages, homepage, campaign imagery (both Central and AMG) as well as social content.
2. You will be proactive in conceptualising new and fresh content ideas for social platforms that stand out in a crowded digital landscape, considering social media strategies to align with wider business goals.
3. Working with Head Of Creative and Social Leadership to regularly review our content through a critical creative lens as well as work with the wider social teams to quantitatively analyse successes to better inform future strategies.
4. Leading ASOS Creative Studios in delivering trend-forward, high-impact fashion content that sets us apart from competitors.
5. Driving operational excellence as well as creative flair in all interactions, establishing and upholding KPIs and SLAs that drive the delivery of the wider creative and delivery strategies.
6. Being a constructive conduit for feedback, always taking and giving feedback positively and being solution-focused.
7. Constantly leading and mentoring core team and peers, remaining proactive and positive in taking on tasks even if information is developing.
8. Aligning and collaborating with the Leads and Heads Of to ensure the overall success of everything we do.

Minimum Requirements
1. Experience in creating and leading strategies specifically around brand identity, fashion authority, and market positioning.
2. Strong experience of leading creative for a mobile and social first brand.
3. A knowledge of the social landscape and proven success in reacting to trends.
4. Experience working with senior stakeholders, building relationships, and collaborating on a variety of outputs.
5. Strong experience working with leading fashion brands and 20-something brands.
6. Experience collaborating with Creative, Commercial and product design teams.
7. Strong experience in fashion, youth culture and lifestyle trends.
8. Experience working with Marketing/Creative teams to define brand aesthetics.
9. Understanding of multi-channel content, consumption, and distribution.
10. The ability to mentor and develop a team skillsets with different levels of experience.
11. Strong influencing skills, articulate and confident presenter.
12. Strong understanding of global and cultural fashion relevancy.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to rapid change.
