Due to increased demand, on behalf of the headteacher, Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced behaviour mentor to work long term in one of our partner pupil referral units. This is a grand opportunity to support children with different learning needs in a truly rewarding role. You will work within a purpose-built environment, with children in KS2 to KS4, collaborating with children and multi-agencies to create strategies that support pupils, with a shared goal of re-integration to mainstream school.
Facing daily challenges, you will need to be a patient and resilient individual with a desire to make a difference in children’s education. You will build rapport with children and adapt to different needs and abilities while ensuring that safeguarding is a priority.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. GCSEs (5 Minimum) – A* - C
2. Enhanced DBS
3. EWC
4. Experience working with behaviour preferred.
Driving is desired but is certainly not essential, as there is public transport local to the school. Public parking is offered to those who drive.
