Our client based in Burnley is an expanding company with an excellent reputation within precision engineering. They have enjoyed a steady growth in clientele and have established a strong order book with a promising future. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker.
The purpose of this role is to work independently to produce bespoke tooling for a range of customers from drawing to completion without the requirement for pre-set programmes but will also be able to work with the team as required for larger projects.
Key Duties Include:
Manufacture, modify, repair and maintain extrusion tooling and associated equipment.
Milling, Turning, Grinding, XYZ semi C.N.C machines & Benchwork.
Maintain all necessary records i.e., Tool Trials, Job Sheets etc.
Ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Maintain all H&S and Environmental standards.
To be considered for this position the successful candidate must have;
Previous Toolmaker experience
Must be proficient on Manual Lathes, Manual Milling Machines, Surface Grinders
Reading of Engineering drawings and GA's.
Knowledge of geometric tolerances
Experienced with varied materials including Steels and Aluminium.
