The role We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Corporate Affairs and Brand (CA&B) function. The role of CA&B function is to fulfill our Group's strategic priorities and to deliver our purpose, driving impact at scale, and build our brands and reputation, influencing our audiences to action. We do this by building a high performing function, providing excellent service to our stakeholders. The function encompasses six teams: Group Brand & Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Investor Relations, Phoenix Insights, and Sustainability. Reporting to the Head of Business Performance and Strategic Planning, whose scope encompasses strategic planning and performance, budgeting and operating costs and risk management and control environment, you will play a key role in enhancing our operating model and ways of working across the Corporate Affairs and Brand function. Lead a series of deep-dive mini projects to identify, develop, and implement strategic improvements to enhance the CA&B operating model. Drive process and performance enhancements, collaborating with the extended business area Leadership Team to embed consistent process, system, and performance improvements across all CA&B teams. Innovate with digital solutions, where it makes sense, exploring and integrating technology to optimise the CA&B operating model. What are we looking for? Strategic thinker who can understand and align with the broader goals of the CA&B function, ensuring that strategic priorities are effectively translated into actionable plans. Detail-oriented, highly organised with strong project management skills, capable of managing complex and detailed changes impacting people, processes, and systems. Creative problem-solver who is open to exploring and integrating new technologies and digital solutions, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the function. Excellent communicator and team player who can build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative environment to drive improvements and achieve shared outcomes. Excellent organisational skills to plan and manage complex projects, ensuring timely and effective execution. Strong leadership and collaboration: Building collaborative relationships to manage change, ensuring smooth transitions across people, process, and systems. Influencing: Ability to influence and challenge thinking at a senior level faced with a diverse range of priorities and opinions, using exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
