You’ll work closely with a talented team of geologists, geophysicists, geotechnical engineers, and geospatial analysts to ensure project success. In addition, you will:
* Support ground model development for offshore and onshore projects under the guidance of the discipline leads for ground modelling and geospatial analysis.
* Use industry-standard GIS software packages to manage, process, analyse, store, retrieve, and visualise geoscience data as part of the ground modelling process for offshore and onshore sites.
* Act as the designated team member responsible for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of project-specific GIS-based ground models.
* Use sound geological principles and conceptual understanding to assemble, critically analyze, and troubleshoot 3D geological models in a GIS environment.
* Manage various GIS datasets with a rigorous approach to data management, catalogue received information, and ensure consistent and clear formatting for data visualization.
* Support workflow improvement and documentation, including the preparation of best practice guidance notes and company processes/procedures.
* Contribute to report deliverables, including drafting of report sections and preparation of illustrative diagrams, maps, charts, and cross sections to communicate methodology and results.
* Contribute to other geo-consulting activities within the team, including desktop study, terrain evaluation, subsurface geophysical/geological interpretation, geospatial analysis, etc.
* Contribute to consultancy report writing and technical notes.
* Support the development of junior team members on specific targeted tasks.
