Our Regulatory team is currently seeking a senior lawyer to join our Tier 1 ranked team.
The successful candidate will work closely with other senior colleagues, and will have responsibility for the operational management of one of the firm's largest clients. They should therefore have experience of management of a significant workstream, working with a team of legal professionals to ensure delivery - and must be able to demonstrate extensive experience working for or on behalf of a UK healthcare professional regulator.
As well as the responsibility for operational management, the successful candidate will be involved with complex fitness to practise case work for major healthcare regulators, and professional disciplinary proceedings. There is also an opportunity to act as legal advisor to regulatory panels. Should the successful candidate be an advocate, they will be able to maintain and develop their skills in hearings before tribunals and the High Court.
There is potential for rapid career progression within the team, and the candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership credentials to allow for this progression, whilst working in a collaborative and supportive environment with a competitive salary, and flexible working.
The successful candidate may be based out of our Reading, London, Southampton or Cardiff office on a hybrid basis. Team members currently attend the office 2 days each week.
