WA is partnering with a financial services business based in Edinburgh to help source a Decision Support Manger for a 12 month fixed term contract. Our client operates with a hybrid approach with two days per week required in the office. The role will have exposure to senior management and stakeholders with a key focus on delivering monthly reporting, forecasting, and informing the financial impact of strategic decision making through insightful analysis and business challenge. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with a growth mindset to help improve the cost base of the business. Key Responsibilities: Business partnering Month end reporting Budgeting forecasting Business case investment appraisal Cost and headcount management Cost allocations and product profitability analysis Required Skills Experience: Professional accountancy qualification Financial planning and forecasting experience Financial reporting and/or management accounting experience Understanding of the cost drivers of products Understanding of relevant external regulation Proficient user of MS Excel and PowerPoint Beneficial Skills Experience: Experience in Financial Services Expert Excel PowerPoint skills Demonstrable experience of being able to quickly form networks and hit the ground running
