Direct Reports: Maintenance Manager, Project Engineer, Engineering Team Leads, Site Services Technician, Electrical Controls Engineer
About the Role:
Biscuit International are the leading private label and bread substitute manufacturer in Europe. We operate in over 40 markets with operations in 33 factories across Europe employing over 5000 people.
We are a major UK producer of own label and gluten-free premium biscuits & cookies producing over 5,000 tonnes per annum.
Key Responsibilities include managing and providing an effective engineering function that supports operational effectiveness and efficiency of plant, equipment, and systems.
* Develop maintenance strategies.
* Create asset replacement plans.
* Review and implement process improvements.
* Maintain autonomous maintenance tasks.
* Optimise manufacturing processes and changeovers.
* Conduct root cause analyses to ensure KPIs are met.
* Manage Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in collaboration with Operations.
* Report on business KPIs.
* Deliver CAPEX and project management on time.
* Manage engineering information systems.
* Oversee audit processes.
* Train and develop the engineering team.
* Participate in disciplinary procedures.
* Build relationships across departments.
* Delegate work based on skills and performance.
