Job summary We are seeking a professional, motivated, flexible person to join our team. The successful applicant will be expected to be computer literate, have effective communication skills and maintain strict confidentiality. The role will require a range of duties, both administrative and reception, to assist the Dr's, Midwives and Support staff within a busy ward, helping maintain the smooth running of the ward. Provide clerical support to the Midwives and Dr's in relation to filing, emailing, faxing and obtaining patient records and results as appropriate. Responsible for the ordering and collection of stationery and ensuring all appropriate documents, Patient Information Leaflets and general items required are well stocked and readily available. Inputting data onto relevant databases Passing on information to the Midwifery team Issue client car park permits and direct them to the general office. Assist with the paper results on a daily basis by checking for appointments, filing and issuing letters to the patient as instructed by the midwives. Provide holiday and sickness cover for other clerical staff as required. Undertake administrative tasks specific to the role of the Delivery Suite/Antenatal/postnatal area.
