We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate individual to the role of Lead Practitioner for Behaviour to join our dynamic and dedicated Wellbeing Team. The role will entail working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure student’s social, emotional and mental health needs are supported to enable them to successfully access their learning. You will work with individuals and small groups of students focussing on areas such as friendships, resilience, and anger management through the use of personalised strategies and interventions (for example Emotional Literacy Support Assistance (ELSA), Wellness Recover Action Plan (WRAP) etc).
Working as a key member of our friendly Wellbeing Team, you will need to have the skills to be able to offer timely support to students and families who may be experiencing difficulties in accessing their learning and managing their behaviour. An understanding of SEN, trauma informed practices, de-escalation techniques and building positive relationships would be useful qualities.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with half an hour lunch break – 32.5 hours per week, term time only.
