About the Role:
We are experiencing rapid growth and plan to onboard many new customers throughout 2025 and beyond. We are expanding our technical team of around 25 by adding more software & mobile engineers, data engineers, QA specialists, and product-focused personnel.
This role acts as a key link between technical execution and strategic delivery. It fosters team excellence by establishing effective workflows and nurturing a collaborative environment that encourages innovation. The role involves balancing analytical oversight of metrics with interpersonal guidance to develop a cohesive team that consistently exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Run efficient daily stand-ups to identify blockers and promote team collaboration.
2. Manage work item estimation to improve scheduling and predictability.
3. Track team metrics for capacity planning.
4. Foster team cohesion and clear communication.
5. Facilitate retrospectives and ensure completion of action items.
6. Maintain quality deliverables and revise timelines as necessary.
7. Help the team adapt to changing priorities.
8. Communicate delivery dates to stakeholders.
9. Conduct performance reviews for team members.
10. Support recruitment planning and interviews.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience required:
1. Recent experience in a small, fast-paced, customer-led delivery environment.
2. Experience leading engineering teams of more than 15 people.
3. Experience with delivery management tools like Azure DevOps or Atlassian suite.
4. Understanding of high-performing team psychology.
5. Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
6. Pragmatic approach, understanding real-world constraints.
7. Ownership and accountability in engineering processes.
8. Effective change management skills.
9. Understanding capacity management and planning challenges.
10. Interest or experience in the aviation/transport industry.
11. Scrum Master Certification (PSM-1 or CSM-1).
12. Software engineering background, preferably in C#/.NET.
