We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Band 4 Theatre Scheduling Assistant, playing a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our theatre services.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide essential administrative support in the planning and organisation of theatre schedules. Responsibilities will include collating weekly theatre scheduling information and coordinating the planning of team schedules, ensuring seamless operation and optimal efficiency across the department.
Main duties of the job
1. The post holder will be responsible for updating and maintaining theatre schedules, ensuring they are consistently accurate and reflect the information provided by speciality teams.
2. The post holder will prepare and disseminate the completed theatre schedule on a weekly basis.
3. The post holder will ensure that any changes to the theatre schedule are promptly communicated to all relevant teams and individuals.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent
* IT skills Microsoft packages word, Excel, internet, Email and data systems experience
* NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent experience
Experience
* Experience working within the theatre environment.
* Experience of working closely with a large multi-disciplinary team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
* Experience of working with a theatre booking system
Skills
* Ability to advise on and propose changes and able to act on own initiative and make decisions.
* Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
* Innovation and desire to improve processes
