Accounts Assistant

Main Duties of the Accounts Assistant:
1. Sales Ledger - ensuring all invoices are input onto systems accurately for reporting figures to the bank, discounting reconciliation and invoicing.
2. Purchase Ledger - processing payments and invoices, supplier accounts reconciliations.
3. Provide support to fellow colleagues with month and year-end processing and general finance tasks.
4. Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Person Specification:
1. Highly numerate, analytical and accurate.
2. A problem solver with an eye for detail.
3. Ability to organise and manage workload to meet tight reporting deadlines.
4. Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and procedures.
5. Strong communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
6. IT literate especially in Accounting Software & Microsoft Office.
7. Invoice discounting experience desirable but not essential.
