Role Overview:
The Maintenance Plumber provides timely and effective service to customers by routinely performing the following maintenance tasks as needed. They take the initiative to ensure that all processes, procedures, and systems are carried out to the highest standard, ensuring that the service provided aligns with company standards. Additionally, they attend departmental meetings and training sessions, operating in accordance with the instructions received.
* Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks, showers and toilets, using hand and power tools.
* Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe where needed using required tooling.
* Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing, or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.
* Keep all internal drains and waste pipework clear of blockages.
* Carry out required PPMs on the plumbing section.
* Respond to emergencies within the designated timeframes.
* Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the principles of providing excellent customer service.
* Ensure all maintenance and services of equipment is conducted on a regular basis and assure all set safety & security procedures are adhered to.
What you will need:
* Demonstrate experience in installation and maintenance of plumbing and piping.
* Installation and Servicing of domestic Vented and Unvented hot water storage systems.
* Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS).
* Servicing and Testing Requirements of Thermostatic Mixing Valves.
* Will need to complete site records and routine forms.
