We are recruiting a Finance Analyst with the Data Centre business who will provide comprehensive financial reporting and control for a key client. Reporting into a Finance Manager and working with multiple stakeholders from all areas of the business, you will ensure that the contract is run effectively from a financial standpoint, whilst adhering to all internal policies and procedures set by CBRE. Role responsibilities Support the finance manager to ensure accurate reporting of all financials related to the contract Support the finance manager with month end close activities including comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting Support the operational teams with monthly forecasts and annual budgets Complete variance analysis reports comparing actuals to budget/forecast with detailed commentary on any identified variances Ownership of the financial ERP set up to accurately reflect the commercial contract and transactions are trading as expected Act as a true finance business partner by supporting the operational teams in all contract finance related matters Help develop financial best practices and process improvements whilst working with the contract support teams Manage audit requests both internal and external for the contract Ensure all SOX compliance controls are adhered to Provide ad-hoc financial reporting as and when requested Ensure UBR and aged debt is managed effectively for the contract Demonstrate a strong contract and commercial knowledge Actively identify/implement innovations across the contract to enhance performance Actively participate in a diverse and effective team Communicate effectively and build/ maintain relationships at all levels with internal and external customers; answer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner Support internal and external clients with any ad-hoc requests, when requested or confirmed applicable by your line manager Attend internal and external meetings upon request Experience Requirements Previous experience of working in a similar role Previous experience of using Oracle PeopleSoft, TM1, PowerBI, Coupa Excellent PC based skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook - intermediate to advance level Working towards finance qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Aptitudes Results/ task orientated, attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, and good standard of written, communication skills Self-motivated and systematic Excellent time management and organisational skills Commitment to continuous improvement Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently Character Reliable and committed Confidential and discrete approach Calm manner, able to work under pressure and with changing demands and priorities Be flexible to work outside core office hours from time to time Committed to customer service delivery EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES We are an equal opportunities employer and do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, gender reassignment, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, disability or age.
