Account Manager – Industrial Automation & Control
Location: Coventry/Milton Keynes (Field-Based)
A leading distributor of industrial automation and control products is looking for an ambitious Account Manager to drive sales and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers. If you're passionate about technology and sales, this is an exciting opportunity to work with businesses ranging from SMEs to blue-chip companies.
The Role
Manage and develop an existing £2M account portfolio across one or two counties
Identify new business opportunities through networking and marketing leads
Visit customers four days a week, supported by a dedicated internal sales team
Work closely with technical product specialists to deliver tailored automation solutions
Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance to clients
What We’re Looking For
Strong sales or account management experience, ideally in industrial automation or a technical field
A self-starter with the drive to succeed and build long-term relationships
Ability to work independently, manage your time, and meet sales targets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A keen interest in technology and problem-solving
Full UK driving licence
