Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla provide Sub-Acute and Aged Care Services. The 8 bed hospital provides Sub-acute hospital care, specialising in palliative care voluntary assisted dying services. Parkvilla is a Residential Aged Care facility for 13 residents and two transitional care clients, a ‘home away from home.'
In addition to patient/resident care, we also provide a two day a week pathology collection service.
Our campus prides itself in the delivery of excellent care. We currently hold a 4 Star rating in Residential Aged Care, NDIS Practice Standards, and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards compliance.
About the role:
The Nurse Unit Manager provides operational and clinical leadership, management, and direction for Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla Aged Care facility. The Nurse Unit Manager works collaboratively with the Manager/Director of Nursing - Tatura to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to patients and residents.
The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the overall delivery of clinical services through innovative models, ensuring quality and evidence-based practice is adhered to. This position involves ensuring the highest quality care, a sound and sustainable financial position, strong staff engagement and support, and effective relationships with the community and consumers of care.
This position is also responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality regional health service provider.
