Your profile
The Roles:
Consultancy Summer internship
You will assist tour highly skilled consultancy team, working through complex client projects, including data migrations, software upgrades and performance testing.
This is a diverse and fast-paced role where technical knowledge and interpersonal skills combine to meet our client’s specific software lifecycle challenges. A role that requires wide technical knowledge, the ability to problem solve and adopt new technical skills quickly.
About You:
* Currently studying a relevant degree within a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics based subject.
* Experience using a variety of operating systems and programming languages, preferably including Python and Java
* Ability to learn and adopt new technical skills quickly.
* Proven ability to work independently and still deliver to strict deadlines.
* A knowledge of and interest in the software development life cycle
* A knowledge of Atlassian and AWS is beneficial but not essential.

Software Developer Summer Internship
Currently recruiting exceptionally talented individuals, with a passion for the industry, to join our development team for a summer internship. AppFox is the product team at Automation Consultants responsible for building cutting edge software and apps that transform leading collaboration tools. Our apps are used by over 1,500 companies worldwide to make a difference to their business. Our customers include globally recognised brands such as Deloitte, Goldman Sachs and Mercedes-Benz. You will gain hands-on experience in app development and support and contribute to generating new ideas.
About You:
* Currently studying a Computer Science based subject.
* Experience in a range of programming languages, frameworks and tools, preferably including Java, TypeScript (JavaScript), Python and React
* A knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and Kubernetes is beneficial.
* Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
* Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
* Demonstrable personal development projects – e.g., Open Source and Github
* Confidence in putting forward new ideas and collaborating with the team.
* Proven ability to work independently and still deliver to strict deadlines.
* Knowledge of Atlassian is beneficial.
