Job Description:
Do you have Pension investment knowledge? You might be currently working in Fund Operations or in Pension Member Services, explaining different types of Pension investments to your customers. Are you looking for the next step in using this knowledge to engage pension scheme members? We’re looking for an individual with prior knowledge of Pension funds and investment strategies to work in our Comms team to engage our pension scheme members. You'll understand the difference between Asset Classes and be familiar with terms such as funds, equities, and default investment options.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver member communication materials and engagement campaigns that support workplace members and schemes through the end-to-end member lifecycle, driving the best member outcomes and meeting commercial needs.
2. Using Member Insight and data analytics to iterate and improve the communications and campaigns, maximizing the impact of the activity.
3. Design and deliver campaigns and communications that support the contact and engagement strategies for members, ensuring alignment to L&G’s Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly Policy.
4. Work with agencies and third-party suppliers to deliver materials and ensure they meet brief and budget to achieve commercial and business targets.
5. Ensure appropriate tracking and reporting is in place to enable us to analyze and interpret campaign management information and insights.
6. Utilize customer/member insight, analytics, and data to improve activities and create effective communications that support commercial objectives.
7. Implement campaign and communication creation across all appropriate channels and within tight timeframes.
8. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to leverage expertise and understand requirements.
9. Work within our appropriate risk and compliance framework to ensure adherence to Group risk framework.
10. Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders across L&G Retail and Group to ensure optimal results for both L&G and our clients.
Qualifications:
Education: Marketing or business-related degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge:
1. Numerate with strong analytical skills and evidence of budgetary management.
2. Good with people and able to communicate and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects to tight timescales with good organizational and project management skills.
4. Able to adapt to and work with change in a fast-growing division and marketing function.
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal skills.
6. An understanding of customer contact/engagement strategies.
7. IT skills – excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
Experience:
1. Experience of designing & delivering consumer-facing communications plans and activities.
2. Experience of working with creative agencies and providing appropriate briefing, management, and creative evaluation.
3. Experience of working in a marketing function or creative agency, preferably within a financial services organization.
