You excel in delivering outreach and home-based support to address identified needs, and communicate effectively with diverse groups using strong written and verbal skills. You maintain accurate records aligned with Recording with Care guidelines and are capable of working independently or as part of a team across various services. Collaborating with parents and professionals comes naturally to you, and your knowledge of child development and child protection is sound. Experience with practical parenting strategies is an asset. You hold a full UK licence, with access to a car and laptop. What the Job Involves This role involves providing maternity cover as an Outreach Family Support Worker. You will engage directly with children, young people, and families to offer outreach support, coordinating with services such as Health, Education, and Children’s Centres. Your responsibilities will include maintaining reflective records, supporting parents to meet children's needs, and working flexibly to assist the Service’s operations. The position requires effective partnership work with parents and professionals, utilizing your understanding of child development and child protection. Your working hours and compensation will be negotiable based on your experience.
