Warwickshire County Council are looking to recruit a Referral and Placement Officer who will become a specialist in Children with Disabilities. This is an opportunity for individuals who are eager to use their initiative and shape the direction of this newly created role. What will you do? You will work alongside our Referral and Placement Officers (RPO’s) whilst having a lead in Children with Disabilities. The RPO’s are responsible for all our external searches including residential, supported accommodation and short breaks. They have strong partnership relationships and connections that allows them to find the best match for our children whilst working closely with the children teams. In addition, this role will develop connections with good providers that can provide homes to meet our children’s needs including short breaks and help manage direct payments. The ability to work in partnership is essential, along with meticulous organisation skills, enthusiasm, and creativity.
