We're working closely with a large special school in the Devizes area that is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team as soon as possible on a full-time basis (unable to accept part-time staff due to the needs of the students). The school currently has a couple of gaps, so you would be placed in the class that best suits your personality and experience.
We've worked closely with this school for years, and there has been no better time to be introduced to them as they have recently opened a new site which is top of the range! The school is boasting some fantastic new equipment and facilities, along with new members of the Senior Leadership Team - exciting times ahead!
The role
The role of SEND Learning Support Assistant is varied but is primarily focused on providing general classroom support and 1-1 support where required. The most essential characteristic they look for is people who are proactive.
Due to the complex needs of the students, it is essential that you have experience working in a professional setting with special needs & disabilities - whether this be in a school setting or support work setting. The school is open to a range of different applications.
