Key Job Responsibilities
1. Participate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and updating of data-driven models for embedded computer vision applications.
2. Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and sensor fusion algorithms for resource-constrained computing platforms on a large scale.
3. Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and implement computer vision and machine learning-based features for Ring devices.
4. Influence system design and product vision by making informed decisions on the selection of technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. PhD, or Master's degree and years of deep learning, computer vision, human-robotic interaction, algorithms implementation experience.
2. Recent experience of building machine learning models for business applications.
3. Experience programming in C++, Python, or related languages.
4. Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in prototyping, designing, implementing, and deploying large-scale computer vision applications and tools.
2. Experience in developing highly optimized CV and ML algorithms on resource-constrained platforms.
3. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deal with ambiguities.
4. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
