Job Description:
The opportunity
Due to significant growth following a number of high-profile client wins, we are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager in our Leeds Office. The role offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most exciting clients in the market, supporting them as they navigate an increasingly complex tax environment.
Your key responsibilities:
* Grow and maintain relationships with both existing and new clients
* Manage the delivery of technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements, as well as related consulting projects
* Participate in tax audit engagements
* Provide exceptional client service
* Collaborate with other tax specialist teams
* Supervise, coach, and mentor staff to support their development
* Lead team initiatives to ensure success
Skills and attributes for success:
* Significant experience in corporate tax, from practice or in-house
* Strong client relationship management skills
* Negotiation skills and stakeholder management
* Business development skills to identify and convert opportunities
* Effective time management and ability to remain calm under pressure
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Enthusiastic team player with leadership abilities
* Experience coaching and developing junior staff
* Commitment to delivering quality work
Minimum qualifications:
* At least 4 years of experience as a corporate tax practitioner
* Full technical training in ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA, or equivalent knowledge and qualifications
