This role will involve integrating with new payment partners in multiple countries via APIs, managing existing integrations, and maintaining our new Blazor-based front-end merchant portal. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritising and resolving conflicting demands as required. Define development objectives and initiate action toward meeting them. Ensure that all work is implemented to specification, on schedule, with good quality and within the effort estimated. Monitor on-going progress and report on exceptions to project and team management. Ensure KCS programming standards, best practice and industry guidelines are adhered to. Develop applications and deliver fixes for customers. Carry out programming tasks from specifications against specific project timescales. Conduct unit testing on own code. Submit code for peer review and make modifications in line with feedback received. Participate in peer review of code and specification, making suggestions to increase quality. Schedule own time to deliver against assigned priorities in line with agreed project timescales. Provide clear updates on progress against assigned tasks. Escalate problems and exceptions that need to be addressed in a timely manner, with suggested solutions and workarounds. Mentor junior members of the development team. Contribute to the product and wider group technical initiatives and ambitions. Work cross-functionally in an agile team and across a matrix organisation. Participate in team and work planning sessions, on requirements and system design sessions. On rotation, contribute to triaging and fixing priority issues. Proficient in C# programming. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in delivering software projects to specification, on time and of good quality. Experience is working in an agile environment (scrum) Knowledge of industry standard methodologies, tools and processes for software development. Understanding of software project lifecycles. Familiarity with development tools and modern database technologies. Good management skills in a fast-paced technical operation. Empathy with software QA and QC processes. Understanding of .NET, C#, JavaScript, REST API. Knowledge of Blazor or similar is desirable. Willingness to learn or have experience of working with distributed architectures such as microservices. Experience in payments, either from the perspective of an ERP/ISV integrating to payment services or from a PSP integrating to acquirers, covering card present, integration, and pay by link.
