We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have the passion for helping people to live as independent as possible within their own homes. You must be capable of lone working and have good communication and problem solving skills.
This is a domiciliary care role where you will be visiting clients in their own homes to provide person centred care and support/encouragement with their daily living needs as well as monitoring physical and mental wellbeing.
At Recovery Support we promote service user choices, independence, dignity and privacy as well as partnership working.
We are looking for preferably experienced care assistants who are car drivers and have access to a vehicle as you will be travelling to client’s homes to carry out visits.
The shifts patterns consist of evenings and weekends with extra hours available as required.
Duties include but are not exhaustive:
• Prompting/assisting with personal care needs including dressing
• Support with household duties such as laundry, shopping, cleaning and meal preparation
• Assisting with medication – this could be collecting prescriptions, prompting, or administering medication.
• Accompanying to medical appointments.

Do I need previous experience?
It will be advantageous to have experience in the care sector however we do provide full induction training followed by a period of shadowing.
