Your New Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering a range of housing projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting detailed building surveys and inspections.
2. Diagnosing defects on-site and reporting on solutions.
3. Pricing the works and managing the tender process.
4. Bringing in contractors and managing them from inception through to completion.
5. Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules.
6. Coordinating with contractors, architects, tenants and other stakeholders.
7. Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
8. Providing technical advice and support to the project team.
9. Managing project documentation and reporting.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
10. Degree in Building Surveying, or in construction and relevant experience surveying within housing.
11. Proven experience in project management within the housing sector.
