Job summary The Ventilation Inpatient Centre is a 10 bedded unit which provides care to the acutely unwell adult in respiratory distress. This can range from providing non invasive ventilation to patients in Type 2 Respiratory failure to dealing with adults with more complex health needs. The unit comprises of four Tracheostomy weaning beds and take regional referrals to assist in the weaning process from tracheostomy ventilation to possible decannulation. We also specialise in providing care to patients with a wide range of neuro muscular diseases including motor neuron disease and Guillian Barre' syndrome. We strive on providing a high level of holistic care to our patients; we work closely with our multi-disciplinary colleagues and value and respect each other.
